措施一：延長(zhǎng)假期，暫時(shí)關(guān)閉校園。

QMS：We are continuing to closely monitor the rapidly-evolving COVID-19 situation. 
Today (March 17, 2020), BC Minister of Education, Rob Fleming announced the suspension of all in-class instruction in our province until further notice. Please be assured we are committed to educational continuity for our Kindergarten–Grade 12 students and their families. We are digesting the messaging from the various government updates today and their impact upon QMS. 

Fieldstone：March has certainly been a month of change at Fieldstone and in the wider world. During our March Break, Toronto Public Health advised schools to close in order to help our city to slow the spread of COVID-19.

由此看出，目前兩所學(xué)校仍在關(guān)閉狀態(tài)，校園具體開放時(shí)間，需要根據(jù)實(shí)時(shí)疫情，另做通知。

措施二：停止面對(duì)面授課，采用線上授課形式，讓學(xué)生有書可讀。
QMS：
By now, you will have received a letter from Wilma Jamieson, Head of School, regarding the announcement this week from Rob Fleming, BC Minister of Education, suspending in-class instruction in our province until further notice. 課堂教學(xué)關(guān)閉。

The Junior and Senior School faculty have been considering various ways that we can effectively deliver online learning or learning-at-home packages during this school closure period. During the week of March 23, 2020, we will be meeting with teachers to continue to develop a Remote Learning Plan tailored to the learning needs of our students. Delivery models may include:

● Digital learning using various online platforms 采取多種在線平臺(tái)進(jìn)行數(shù)字化學(xué)習(xí)
● Learning resource packages to be emailed to families 通過(guò)電子郵件發(fā)送學(xué)習(xí)資料包

A modified timetable for Senior School and plans for each grade in Junior School will be communicated to you. We understand that the transition to online learning will be challenging for families. We will provide guidelines for parents, contact information of school personnel, and times they will be available to students and parents to answer questions and provide guidance. 為家長(zhǎng)提供學(xué)校人員的聯(lián)系方式，他們將會(huì)給家長(zhǎng)和學(xué)生解答相關(guān)問(wèn)題以及提供相應(yīng)指導(dǎo)。

Fieldstone：

措施三：對(duì)于國(guó)際寄宿生，寄宿制學(xué)校繼續(xù)為學(xué)生提供住宿，實(shí)行單人間制度，禁止外出活動(dòng)。
QMS：
● understand how difficult it must be for your child to be away from home during this global crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve daily, international travel is becoming more challenging, and finding alternative accommodation in Canada for your child may not be possible. The safety and security of your children are of utmost importance to us. Following further conversations over the last 24 hours with our parents and the QMS Board of Governors, I have decided that QMS will continue to provide residential accommodation and care for your child(ren), if needed. 繼續(xù)為學(xué)生提供住宿。
● To support the ongoing health and safety of your child(ren), additional measures implemented will include the following:
● To assist with the government’s mandate for social distancing, students will be provided individual rooms. 提供獨(dú)立的房間。
● Off-campus and social activities will be restricted in accordance with the guidelines provided by our provincial health authority. 限制校外和社交活動(dòng)。
● Food Services will continue with increased hygiene measures in place. 正常提供食物。
● Once our e-learning program is launched, students will be expected to participate and follow classes online from their rooms. Student engagement will be monitored and encouraged by residence staff. 學(xué)生在自己房間進(jìn)行線上上課，宿管將進(jìn)行監(jiān)督和鼓勵(lì)。

措施四：實(shí)行疫情期間鼓勵(lì)政策，適當(dāng)減免學(xué)費(fèi)。
Fieldstone：
● would like to inform you that Fieldstone School has launched a Special Anti-Coronavirus Promotion Package which would support our distinguished agents and prospective students who are fighting the Coronavirus since the beginning of year 2020.

We will offer each new applicant 2% discount of the regular tuition fee of the first academic year.

The promotion package will apply to all the applications we received on and beyond the date of March 10, 2020. Until when we inform you the termination of the promotion campaign.
從3月10日起遞交新申請(qǐng)的學(xué)生，可享有首學(xué)年學(xué)費(fèi)的2%折扣，截止時(shí)間學(xué)校另行通知。

措施五：各學(xué)校官網(wǎng)及時(shí)更新學(xué)校關(guān)于疫情的動(dòng)態(tài)和應(yīng)對(duì)政策。學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)可通過(guò)學(xué)校官網(wǎng)查看相關(guān)信息，同時(shí)學(xué)校也會(huì)給在讀學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)及時(shí)發(fā)送學(xué)校最新信息。

那么，疫情是否會(huì)影響今年九月份的學(xué)校申請(qǐng)和入讀呢？
答案是：不會(huì)。因?yàn)橐咔?，學(xué)校關(guān)閉，但老師們也在采取線上辦公的方式繼續(xù)處理新學(xué)生的申請(qǐng)。例如Luther College High School的招生官就反饋:“We are committed to helping you and our prospective student applicants for September 2020. Even though our school is temporarily closed at the moment due to COVID-19 and the Saskatchewan Government instructions, our admissions and recruitment staff are working remotely and can be contacted by e-mail.  We are happy to help.”

而針對(duì)九月份因?yàn)橐咔闊o(wú)法按時(shí)入讀的學(xué)生，F(xiàn)ieldstone的應(yīng)對(duì)措施如下：
1. 如果20.9的學(xué)生想申請(qǐng)延期的話，學(xué)?？梢詭蛯W(xué)生延期到21.2或者21.9
For those students who might postpone their registration our Fall program due to their visa delay or sever Pandemic situation. There is no doubt the students can defer their registration to Spring or Fall 2021 term. 

2. 如果20.9的學(xué)生想今年9月入讀，但是一些原因不能準(zhǔn)時(shí)到校的話，學(xué)校可以允許學(xué)生在11月之前報(bào)道。
Our admission team are also preparing special late registration date around beginning of November, 2020 for those new students who could not enroll in September 2020 due to the above reasons.
